Last night some crazy storms came through central Iowa and Fort Dodge. We hung out in the basement while the lights flickered, the tornado sirens went off and the wind went crazy. Luckily we never lost power, and the internet was only down for a few minutes (phew!). Compared to some of our neighbors we got off easy, though this was our view out the backdoor this morning.
Since we weren't sure if we had any roof damage, Joel had to face his fear of heights and go up on the roof. It was scary (for both of us!) but he made it safe and sound both up and down. And, as far as we could tell, we had no roof damage, thank goodness.
After a busy morning, we headed down to Des Moines and surrounding areas for 3 pickups of new inventory, and a HUGE swap. We have almost 200 pieces of new inventory, yay!
